 Summary 

The Keep Kids Fed Act (KKFA, P.L. 117-158) was signed into law June 25, 2022. The law extends the Department of Agriculture’s (USDA’s) COVID-19-related authority to waive certain child nutrition requirements, some through the summer and some through the 2022-2023 school year, and provides for school and day care meal reimbursements above regular statutory levels.
