Cybersecurity and More Included in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act

The Senate has approved and sent to the House a five-year infrastructure bill, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA; H.R. 3684). The bill authorizes and in some cases appropriates funding for programs in a wide variety of areas. This brief summarizes provisions in Division G (“Other Authorizations”) relevant to states, including new cybersecurity programs and other miscellaneous authorizations. It also covers related appropriations provided in Division J.
