Final fiscal year (FY) 2023 funding for the Department of Energy (DOE) and related agencies was included as part of an omnibus appropriations bill (P.L. 117-328). This brief summarizes funding and other provisions in the bill, explanatory statement, and the House report it references related to DOE and related agencies. In some cases, it also highlights funding provided in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
