The ARP: Initial State Allocations, Estimates

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) was signed into law on March 11. It is the sixth COVID-19 relief bill and provides about $1.9 trillion in federal spending. A spreadsheet that accompanies this brief provides initial state estimates for several grant programs. A forthcoming Budget Brief will summarize provisions of interest to states.
