FY 2021 Appropriations Update: Interior, Environment; Energy, Water

Fiscal year (FY) 2021 appropriations for Interior-Environment (H.R. 7608) and Energy-Water (H.R. 7617) have passed in the House. This brief summarizes funding and other provisions in the bills related to the Department of the Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Energy, and related agencies. It also covers the National Endowments for the Arts and Humanities.

Of note, the House provides emergency supplemental funding for additional infrastructure investments, as discussed in the sections below. These appropriations would not be counted against discretionary funding caps.
