The House recently passed the Securing America’s Federal Elections Act (SAFE Act; H.R. 2722). The bill would authorize $600 million for election security improvements in fiscal year (FY) 2019 and $175 million annually in FY 2020, FY 2022, FY 2024, and FY 2026.
