Summary
Last week, the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Ways and Means Committee approved their legislative proposals for repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) through reconciliation. The bill, entitled the American Health Care Act, makes many changes to the ACA—focusing on insurance affordability, individual and employer mandates, and taxes.
