Summary
America’s Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) of 2018 (S. 3021) has passed the House and Senate, and now heads to the president for approval. The legislation authorizes new Army Corps of Engineers projects, creates grant programs, modifies the Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund (DWSRF), amends provisions of the Clean Water Act (CWA), and reauthorizes Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) loans.
