Summary
In short order, the House of Representatives has released its budget proposal for the remainder of fiscal year (FY) 2011 and the president has released his budget proposal for FY 2012. This Budget Brief summarizes the highlights of both, and Table 1 lists the funding recommended by each proposal for major grant programs of importance to states.
