On August 26, 2009, the Department of Education (ED) published a notice in the Federal Register that describes the proposed requirements of federal fiscal year (FY) 2009 School Improvements Grants (CFDA #84.377) funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA; P.L. 111-5) and FY 2009 appropriations legislation.
