 Summary 

The VIP Series focuses on federal grant-in-aid programs in the FFIS database that are of most importance to states. While FFIS tracks more than 240 grant-in-aid programs, the lion’s share of federal aid, almost 70% of total funding tracked by FFIS, is reported here.

This edition of The VIP Series estimates the impact of the president's proposed budget for fiscal year (FY) 2017, which was released on Tuesday, February 9.
