Summary 

On February 19, 2014, the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Employment and Training Administration (ETA) announced the availability of approximately $150 million for the H-1B Ready to Work Partnership competitive grant program. This new program is aimed at providing job skills training, career development, and counseling to long-term unemployed workers in industries that hire foreign employees under H-1B nonimmigrant visas.
