Summary 

As part of comprehensive health care reform efforts, both the House and Senate are considering changes to the Medicaid program, most notably a mandatory expansion of Medicaid eligibility. Under the House proposal, the Medicaid program would be expanded to cover individuals with incomes at or below 133% of the federal poverty level (FPL).
